I work in a large organization and we have a large development team working in various regions. With team of such size and regional diversity, continuous build and integration is a must. So we have decided to move to a better build platform. We installed the evaluation version and I was impressed, problem was that without licenses we could not do much.

I kept getting calls from our help desk that user's devices couldn't pull network services. After querying the switchport the device in question was connected to it would be administratively shut!

"It messed up my hair"

Back in the days before cell phones and cheap blu-tooth wireless phone headsets I had a wired "hands free" headset for my office phone. I "promoted" it via "Midnight office supply" from an empty desk where it had sat unused for quite a while.

Worst IT Department: Port Authority of NY & NJ

I rate it the worst for the following reasons:

1) upper management doesn't understand IT or what it takes to accomplish things at this government agency. Top IT management is not grown from within, but appointed from the outside to fulfill political favors.
